In-Building Coverage

In-building coverage solutions in the Hudson Valley

Struggling with limited radio range or poor cell connectivity indoors? A distributed antenna system solves coverage issues, whatever the size or density of your site.

Overview

Signal where your walls block it

Concrete, steel, basements and stairwells block radio and cellular signal, and that is where your team often needs it most.

We evaluate your building and recommend the right combination of bi-directional amplifiers and distributed antennas, then install a system that is reliable, fast and easy to use.

What we offer

BDA and DAS, explained

Bi-directional amplifiers

BDAs boost signals so two-way radio communication holds up throughout challenging areas. Public safety radio BDAs and cellular BDAs are completely different and cannot be interchanged, so we help you choose correctly.

Distributed antenna systems

A DAS picks up signals entering a building and delivers them to remote spots, using cabling with splitters that divert signal to locations with connectivity issues.

Active, passive or hybrid

Three main DAS types, each with different advantages and costs.

Plan for the long term

Lowest cost now is rarely lowest cost overall

Lower-cost options usually mean reduced quality and a shorter lifespan, which leads to higher long-term costs from early replacement and repair. We evaluate your infrastructure and recommend the best value.

No. Public safety BDAs for two-way radio and BDAs for cellular phones are completely different and cannot be interchanged.

Active DAS provides the most expansive coverage, passive DAS uses coax and splitters, and hybrid combines both. We recommend after evaluating your building.

The network of cables already in your facility can form the core of a DAS, with splitters diverting signal to problem areas.
